The same URL on PC and on Quest.Same world, watching together.

Once the stream starts you get a URL just for that screen. No complicated streaming settings.

Paste the URL into a supported VRChat video player. Your screen shows up in VRChat right away.
Viewers need to turn on "Allow Untrusted URLs" in VRChat. We recommend a player that supports AVPro in Stream mode; turning on the player's "Low Latency" mode reduces the delay further. These are world-side settings. If a world restricts playback to its own allowlist of domains, ask the world author to add tv.choicast.com.

We plan to keep the features currently available free to use. We may review the features offered or pricing depending on usage and the resources needed to run the service. We are also considering paid plans for longer streams and higher video quality. Details and availability have not yet been decided.
Even when the preview in your browser looks almost instant, expect about 1 second of delay in a VRChat player (about 2–3 seconds on Quest). Here is why, and what to do when the delay grows.
The preview on this page simply shows the captured screen right where it is. The video played in VRChat arrives only after passing through this route.
In a test streaming from Tokyo to a VRChat player on PC, the delay was about one second. It varies with your connection, world and player.
Video reaches each viewer from the choicast streaming server, separately from the world’s region setting. Your connection and video player can cause delays even in a nearby world.
Use an AVPro-compatible video player in Stream mode for live streams. Other types of players may not play live streams or may fall further behind. Even compatible players can have different delays depending on the connection and audio.
VRChat’s official Video Players documentationDelays can have several causes, including a busy connection or the player’s current state. Try the steps above one at a time.

It works in worlds with a video player that supports AVPro in Stream mode — ProTV, VideoTXL and Yamadev's async players among them. Some worlds and player settings will not play it. Check "Allow Untrusted URLs" as well.
Yes. What you pick in Chrome's share dialog decides which sound goes out. A "Chrome Tab" with "Also share tab audio" on includes only that tab's sound. A "Window" with its app audio on includes only that app's sound (other windows of the same app are included too). "Entire Screen" with "Also share system audio" on includes every sound on your PC. In the latest Chrome every switch starts out on; turn it off to send video only. The audio options available depend on your browser and OS.
You are sharing all of your PC's audio. Sharing the entire screen with audio includes notifications and VRChat's sound, and re-captures the stream playing in VRChat, so the audio loops. To stream audio, share a Chrome tab or a window; for the entire screen, turn audio off. If picking a window shows "Also share system audio", that is your whole PC's sound too, so update Chrome or share a tab.
If you started with "Stream with the same URL as last time" selected, press the reload button on the VRChat player to bring the stream back. If you started without selecting it, the URL changes, so share the new URL again.
Friends on Quest can watch the same URL. Use a world with a supported video player. Expect about 2–3 seconds of delay, varying with the connection and the player.
We do not save stream video or audio for later playback. If you start recording, a recording can be saved in your own browser. Anyone who knows the stream URL can watch, so check that your shared screen contains nothing private. We can't take responsibility for anything that shows up on your shared screen.
Select “Start recording” during a stream to make a video on your device. Once “Saved in this browser” appears after stopping, you can close the page and retrieve it later in the same browser.Use the Recording panel shown during a stream to start, stop and download. Recording files are not uploaded to our servers. Download any recordings you need to keep.
Just a browser. Back to the usual place, where your friends are.
