How to share your screen in VRChat

Start from your browser without installing or configuring OBS. A Discord login is required to stream.

    Start sharing in your browser

    Open choicast.com, sign in with Discord, and choose the tab, window, or screen to share.

  2. 02

    Copy the viewing URL

    When the stream starts, copy the viewing URL shown on the page. Each stream gets its own URL.

  3. 03

    Play it in VRChat

    Paste the URL into a compatible VRChat video player and start playback. Viewers need to enable “Allow Untrusted URLs”.

World permissions

In Private, Friends, and Friends+ instances, viewers need “Allow Untrusted URLs” enabled. In Public instances, the world author must also add tv.choicast.com to Allowed Domains.

Compatible players

Playback has been checked on PC VRChat with iwaSync3 and YamaPlayer (YamaStream). Choose a player that supports AVPro Stream playback. If YamaPlayer shows a confirmation prompt, continue playing without changing the engine.
